Christin Lawson Phillips is a Senior Vice President of Appraisers and Planners, Inc., a 90-year-old full service appraisal and real estate consulting firm based in New York City. Christin holds a BA in Political Science from the College of Charleston and an MBA with a concentration in Finance and Investment Analysis from the University of Hartford. She began her career in commercial real estate appraisal in 2005 after ten years of licensing magazines for both Time Inc. and Ziff Davis Media in the Asia Pacific and European markets. Now a Pennsylvania, D.C., New York and New Jersey state certified general appraiser, she attended Temple University, New York University and the national Appraisal Institute to fulfill her requirements. Christin became a Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) in January of 2014.

She heads up the firm's business in Philadelphia and is a member of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Appraisal Institute and was on the board from 2016-2018.

Christin is a generalist covering the valuation of all major product types as in urban land development, large scale office buildings, retail/shopping centers and regional malls and multi-family properties. Properties she appraises are for a variety of purposes including Estate & Trust matters, Tax Appeals and Financing. Recent and notable assignments include 2M+ square foot super-regional mall, development land in Center City Philadelphia, a 1,000+ unit apartment complex under renovation (Presidential City), several $1 Billion+ office properties in New York such as 730 Fifth Avenue and 4 World Trade and 2001 K Street in the District of Columbia.
